The Los Angeles Times Festival of Books is this weekend at UCLA April 26-27. This is a wonderful event and I encourage all my students to go at least one day if possible. (And I'll give extra credit to any student bearing proof of attendance.) The Festival is free. There are several stages which have readings by authors, and music and poetry.
